Jira poll and survey apps compared
Jira has a vote count on an issue and nothing else — no multiple choice, no ranking, no way to ask a team a question where the work lives. The apps that fill that gap split into two groups that get compared to each other by mistake, so this page separates them first and then prices them.

Polls and surveys are not the same purchase
Search the Marketplace for "poll" and you get two categories side by side:
- Customer feedback tools — CSAT and NPS apps that attach a rating widget to a resolved service request and report on the results over time. The respondent is your customer.
- Team polls — ask the people in a project a question, on an issue or a dashboard, and see the answer. The respondent is your colleague.
They appear in the same search results and cost roughly the same, and buying the wrong one is a common and avoidable mistake. FastPoll is the second kind.
What each app costs
Monthly total for the whole site, cheapest first after our own row.
| App | 25 users | 100 users | 500 users | 2,000 users | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FastPoll - Polls, Votes & Surveys for Jira (ours) | $11.25 | $45 | $182 | $632 | no reviews yet |
| Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Survey — customer feedback | $7.50 | $30 | $119 | $379 | 4.07 |
| Team Voice (polls, votes, surveys) | $17.50 | $70 | $162.50 | $372.50 | no reviews |
| Polls for Jira | $19.25 | $77 | $259 | $619 | 1.25 |
| Surveys for Jira - Jira Customer Surveys | $36 | $144 | $424 | $804 | 3.81 |
Two things the table shows that we will not spin. The CSAT app is cheaper than FastPoll at every size — and it is a customer-feedback tool, so if satisfaction ratings on service requests are what you want, buy it. And Team Voice is cheaper than us from about 500 users upward ($162.50 against $182, and $372.50 against $632 at 2,000), because its curve flattens harder than ours does at the top end.
What is also true is that this is the thinnest-rated category in this whole comparison set. Surveys for Jira averages 3.81★ from 22 reviews, which is real evidence. Polls for Jira shows 1.25★ — but from a single review, so treat that as noise rather than a verdict, and Team Voice has no reviews at all. Nobody in this table, us included, has the review count that would settle the question.
Which one to shortlist
- Satisfaction ratings on resolved service requests: CSAT Survey or an NPS app. Not FastPoll.
- A long-form questionnaire with branching, sent to people outside your Jira site: a real survey product, not a Jira app.
- A question put to the team where the work already is — on an issue, a project page or a dashboard: FastPoll or Team Voice. Team Voice has a genuinely free tier and is the reasonable baseline to compare us against.
Polls that change your backlog
Most poll apps end at a bar chart. The one FastPoll feature worth singling out is that a prioritization poll can write the team's ranking back to your issues — the vote is not a picture of an opinion, it is an edit to the backlog everyone then works from. FastPoll ships nine poll types, from a two-option yes/no through multiple choice, rating scales and dot voting to that backlog prioritization mode, with live tallies and optional anonymity.
Like the rest of our apps it runs entirely on Atlassian Forge with no egress permissions declared — no outbound domain, no inbound endpoint — and qualifies for Runs on Atlassian. For an anonymous poll that is not a marketing line: an anonymous vote whose contents leave your tenant is not anonymous in the way the people voting assume. FastPoll keeps ballots in Forge storage inside your own site and stores no display names or email addresses.
What the other apps do better than FastPoll
- Team Voice is cheaper on a large site. Both apps are free to ten users and we undercut it in the middle of the range, but from around 500 users its curve is below ours. If a basic poll on a big site is all you need, start there.
- Surveys for Jira does long-form surveys — question branching, response management and reporting built for questionnaires rather than quick votes. FastPoll is deliberately not that.
- Customer-facing feedback. The CSAT and NPS apps are built to reach people outside your site; FastPoll polls licensed Jira users.
- They have reviews and we do not. Even a 3.81★ average is evidence, and we have none yet.
- We hold no security certification. No SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no independent penetration test — see the security page.
How these numbers were produced
Every price here was read from
/rest/2/addons/{key}/pricing/cloud/live — the public endpoint the
Marketplace renders its own pricing from — by a script kept in this site's
repository, so no competitor's price list is ever retyped from a screenshot.
Totals assume commercial licences, monthly billing, and that every user on the
site is charged above the free tier, which is how Atlassian bills. Annual
billing is roughly 17% cheaper on every app in the table. See
how Atlassian app billing works for the mechanics.
If a number here is wrong or has moved, tell us and we will correct it — including in our own favour or against it.
